Originally my laptop came without an "Active Smart Card Reader", so I procured a replacement part "N02323-001" (Card reader) and N09040-001 (Cable kit). The laptop has an internal smart card reader. It isn't working fully. I have updated and tried downgrading drivers with no change in behavior. I've also checked for windows updates (windows 10), and everything is up to date.
