Bell Satellite Sending Out New Smart Cards. Just spotted on Channel 794 today that Bell is going to be sending out new smart cards by courier. The channel is also saying that new smart cards must be activated or you will be losing some of your channels. It is not saying which receivers are affected. Wham bam thank you mam! And he said I am being shipped the new card now 3-5 business days, and to send the old defective one back in the same enveloppe. He also told me (no one else told me this) that my receiver has a built in smart card, and to try to plug in the machine after removing the defective card. I'll try that when I get home.

Once the smartcard arrives they have to plug it in and wait few minutes, if after 15-20mins it is still says "not autorised" then call sly dish to get a hit.
